The Centre for Research on Health and Nursing seeks a Research Assistant dedicated to supporting BIPOC Health Sciences students. The role involves coordinating group sessions, managing communications, and facilitating discussions to empower BIPOC individuals in their academic journey. Ideal candidates are organized students passionate about building community and addressing diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and facilitate BIPOC student group meetings • Communicate effectively with group participants • Keep accurate records of participation and feedback • Prepare content and reports for meetings • Lead group discussions and activities on relevant topics
Requirements: • Student in a Faculty of Health Sciences program • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Event organization experience is a plus • Awareness of BIPOC issues is beneficial • Proficient in English; French knowledge is advantageous
