Located at the Kingston Centre, this contracted position offers 15 hours weekly, with additional hours available as needed. A valid Ontario Driver’s Licence is essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to regular attendance. Your personal experience with recovery will be invaluable in this supportive role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver peer support for those with concurrent disorders
• Engage in meetings and necessary training sessions
• Complete required criminal record checks for vulnerable persons
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Attend work consistently, following the set schedule
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
• Preferred diploma or degree in relevant fields
• Current training in CPR/First Aid and WRAP processes
• Personal experience with addiction recovery
• Capable of working independently while providing support
