Intermediate IT PM / Scrum Master - Collateral & Front Office
Contract: 6 months + ext
Hybrid: 1x per week
Rate: $55-70/hr
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Scrum Master, or Agile Delivery roles.
- Solid experience working in Agile environments.
- Advanced proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
- Proven ability to manage project backlogs, releases, and Agile delivery processes.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technology teams.
-Experience preparing executive-level status reporting and presenting updates to leadership.
-Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize work effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on delivery, tracking, and team coordination.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience within Capital Markets Technology environments.
- Knowledge of Collateral processes and systems.
- Experience w. Pirum
- Familiarity with concepts such as:
- Margin Calls
- Collateral Allocation
- Tri-Party Collateral Management

- Previous experience working directly with traders and business stakeholders.
Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a IT Project Manager / Scrum Master for a Capital Markets Technology team at a leading Bank Downtown Toronto to support within the Collateral Systems group. This individual will act as a key liaison between technology teams, business stakeholders, and front-office users,
helping drive project delivery while ensuring Agile best practices are followed across the team. This is a highly collaborative role that combines traditional project management responsibilities with Scrum Master duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, team scrums, and release coordination.
- Manage and maintain Jira boards, workflows, backlogs, user stories, and project documentation.
- Oversee team delivery activities and ensure sprint and release commitments are met.
- Maintain and prioritize the team's book of work, tracking initiatives, enhancements, and business requests.
- Coordinate activities across Business Analysts, Developers, SMEs, and business stakeholders.
- Support project delivery for a strategic tri-party collateral initiative involving external vendor Pirum.
- Prepare and deliver project status updates, risk reporting, and communications to stakeholders.
- Facilitate monthly steering committee meetings and provide updates on project progress, risks, dependencies, and resource capacity.
- Monitor team capacity and assist with resource allocation and prioritization decisions.
- Identify and escalate project risks, issues, and blockers to ensure successful delivery.
