Experience / Certification

- ECE Level 3 or 2
- Montessori Trained Certified
- PIC
- First Aid (up to date)
- Experience in working with children in childcare/classroom settings
- Experience working with children with high needs (preferred, not required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood

Other Qualifications

- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote active learning
- Patience,



empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children

Duties

- Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities for children (ages 2.5–6 yr)
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child, taking into account their unique needs and abilities
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and assess children’s progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate special events, field trips, and parent engagement activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, ensuring the safety and well‑being of all children
