Lead the Loss Prevention team at SportChek and safeguard store assets while enhancing customer experience in a vibrant retail setting. As a Store Loss Prevention Lead, your on-floor presence will drive crucial awareness and reduce losses effectively.
At SportChek, you will be responsible for leading loss prevention efforts and ensuring compliance with LP standards. This role requires effective communication with customers and staff to promote vigilance within the store. You’ll coach associates, manage security procedures, and log incidents with the Regional Loss Prevention Manager to streamline responses and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce LP tagging and secure high-value products
• Maintain presence during high-risk hours
• Train staff on loss prevention measures




• Log incidents and communicate with management
• Promote customer acknowledgment and engagement
Requirements:
• 6+ months retail experience preferred
• 12+ months as Loss Prevention Officer or Security
• Licensing in Security or Investigations is an asset
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Ability to lift heavy containers (up to 50lbs)
