From designing HVAC and plumbing systems to supporting complex multi‑disciplinary projects, you’ll directly contribute to healthier, more resilient spaces for communities.Your ImpactDesign mechanical building systems including HVAC, domestic water, sanitary, storm, and natural gas systems for a variety of projects.Prepare accurate and coordinated AutoCAD drawings and Revit 3D models to support project delivery.Apply mechanical engineering principles, Ontario Building Code requirements, and relevant standards including ASHRAE, ASPE, NFPA, and CSA to real‑world solutions.Perform mechanical calculations, assist in preparing specifications, and contribute to design packages that support project approvals.Collaborate closely with senior engineers, designers, and cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality project outcomes.Support project management activities such as tracking deliverables, coordinating design updates, and contributing to team planning.Engage in BIM360 workflows to ensure integrated, effective,



and accurate project documentation.The Skills That Set You ApartHold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2–4 years of hands‑on design experience in buildings or infrastructure environments.Have applied experience with mechanical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and natural gas.Be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit 3D, and comfortable working within digital engineering and BIM environments.Understand utility coordination, authority requirements, and applicable codes and standards.Approach your work with curiosity, accountability, and a desire to learn from senior engineers and project leads.Registration as an Engineer‑in‑Training with PEO is an asset.CompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $63,800 – $88,400MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 – $80,000DisclosureThe final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
