In this 8-10 week summer position, you will support youth ages 13-16 in the Head Start program and assist job seekers at YMCA Nova Scotia Works. Collaborate with staff, provide one-on-one support, and engage in tasks that matter, creating a welcoming community space for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support youth with career development in resource centers
• Assist clients in updating resumes and online job searches
• Facilitate virtual training materials for Head Start program
• Respond to inquiries via phone calls and online
• Supervise youth attending job search camps
Requirements:
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check (if over 18)
• Proof of current First Aid and CPR training
• Must be between 15-30 years old for this position
• Robust problem-solving and teamwork skills
