Typical shifts:

- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

- 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM

- 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Evening and weekend availability is required.

At Jake’s Grill and Oyster House , fresh oysters and seafood are our specialties. We’ve proudly served the Burlington community since 1985, and we’re looking for our next full-time Line Cook to join our team.

What You’ll Do

As a Line Cook, you will:

- Prepare high‑quality food that keeps our guests coming back

- Follow our recipes and food‑quality standards

- Work across multiple kitchen stations, including fryers, grill, and salad line





- Prepare ingredients and ensure meals are ready on time

- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure kitchen

- Work closely with other kitchen team members to keep service running smoothly

- Maintain food quality and consistency from preparation through service

What We’re Looking For

No previous experience is required. Training will be provided.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Works well as part of a team

- Communicates well with kitchen staff

- Can stay calm and focused during busy periods

- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Takes pride in preparing quality food

- Is available to work evenings and weekends

Previous experience in a restaurant, commercial kitchen, or as a Line Cook is an asset, but not required.
