Home Child Care Provider ( Permanent employment

Full time / 30 to 40 hours per week)

Location: Thornhill, ON

Salary: 20.00 hourly

Starts as soon as possible

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site setting: Non-smoking Scent free

Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Work in employer’s/client’s home. Public transportation is available

Tasks

- Supervise and care for children. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Prepare children for rest periods




- Tend to emotional well-being of children

Job Requirements

- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience an asset
- Security and safety: Criminal record check
- Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- Personal suitability: Client focus, Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Time management, Patience, Honesty
