The Town of Wolfville is seeking enthusiastic instructors for its afterschool programs that run from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. You will lead child groups, develop recreational activities, and foster a supportive environment. Solid leadership, interpersonal skills, and experience with programming will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engaging afterschool recreation programs
• Create and implement fun recreational activities
• Supervise and support groups of children
• Communicate effectively with students and parents
• Ensure safety and inclusivity in program delivery
Requirements:
• Demonstrated ability to lead groups of children
• Experience in recreation programming preferred
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Obtain criminal record checks and child abuse registry
• Available between 3 and 15 hours per week
