The Assistant Store Manager at Dollarama in Mississauga, ON provides support to the Store Manager in overseeing the daily retail store operations. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager acts as the Manager on Duty (MOD).

Responsibilities:

- Support the Store Manager in overseeing all daily retail store operations
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager
- Ensure company rules and regulations are explained, understood, and followed by all team members
- Oversee inventory counts to ensure they are completed promptly and accurately for proper resupply of goods
- Ensure established merchandising practices are followed consistently throughout the store
- Participate in recruitment and training activities for new employees
- Efficiently organize time and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

- Minimum of two (2)



years' experience in the retail industry
- Experience in team management
- Solid leadership and communication skills
- Ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities
- Comfortable with ladders, up-and-down movements, and heavy lifting
- Available to work 40-50 hours weekly, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned region
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

Pay: From $19.30 to $20.30 per hour

Minimum 2 years of experience in the retail industry; experience in team management; strong leadership and communication skills; ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities; legally authorized to work in Canada.
