Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa is looking for a reliable Part‑Time Cafe Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide warm and attentive service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming workplace and a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Minimum age requirement: 19 years
- Previous experience in food and beverage service is an asset
- Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem‑solving abilities
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Must have Serve It Right certification
- Other certifications such as WHMIS and FOOD SAFE are considered assets




- STEC certification (Food and Beverage Server and/or Bartender) considered an asset

Duties

- Process food, beverage, and pool admission orders using the POS system
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of Morningsides Cafe and Pool Reception Area
- Handle pool program registrations accurately
- Perform accurate daily cash‑out procedures
- Open and/or close the Caf as scheduled
- Work flexible hours based on business needs
- Retrieve and return daily stock from the kitchen
- Support other departments on the 4th floor as required
- Track sales and inventory with precision
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Managers

Schedule

Sat and Sun - 9am to 5:30pm
