Weston Frontlines Centre is looking for creative, passionate and flexible Chef Assistants. Reporting to the Senior the Culinary Manager/Chef, the Chef Assistant will support the Senior Culinary Manager in food distribution, Frontlines’ culinary programs and support to local agencies and families in Weston and nearby communities as well as catering requests.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Pick up food items from suppliers as requested by supervisor
- Storage of food items
- Prepare menus
- Prepare, cook and store meals
- Assist in catering events
- Provide documentation to the culinary manager
- General lifting and cleaning of work space
- Be a positive role model
- Other duties as assigned
- Remain Flexible!

Work Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience working in a kitchen. Knowledge of food handling is a must.

Job Type: Full-time.

Experience: Kitchen: 1 year (Preferred).
