The Manager of Sport Venture provides leadership and resource management inthe delivery and implementation of barrier free sporting leagues within the community.

The Manager of Sport Ventureis responsible for networking and planning with community organizations, sponsors, volunteers, participants, and staff.

This position is responsible forfacilitating and managing community sports programming and the Sport Venture Library.

This position involves ongoing communication and coordination with various partners.

The Manager of Sport Venture collaborates and communicates with the participants, funding agencies, families, community resources, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Implement, maintain,



and deliver barrier free sporting leagues within the community.
- Responsible for scheduling events and securing facilities.
- Responsible for upkeep and organization of the lending library inventory of equipment
- Responsible for organizing registration for sports and other programs and arrange participant transportation to the programs
- Engage, support, and motivate coaches, volunteers, and program participants.
- Identify recreational needs within the community.
- Work in a team-oriented manner with all stakeholders to ensure clear and open communication
- Ensure that all staff are trained to deliver complete services across diverse working environments.
- Evaluate current business processes and systems, develop plans, and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency
- Report on success of programs, progress, and participation levels of the various events and programs.
- Ensure the teams documentation in permanent records, working papers, and communications is complete and in compliance with agency standards.
