Food Service Supervisor

Wage: $19.23-$20.23 per hour, to be negotiated
Hours: 30-44 hours per week

Position Overview

Tim Hortons in Harriston, Ontario is currently seeking additional Food Service Supervisors to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidates will help supervise daily food service operations, coordinate team members, maintain quality and service standards, and contribute to an effective and positive workplace.

Job Responsibilities

- Establishing methods to meet work schedules;
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food;
- Training staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety procedures;
- Estimating ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation;
- Ensuring that food preparation and customer service meet established quality control standards;
- Addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner;
- Maintaining records relating to stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;
- Preparing and submitting reports; and
- Establishing staff work schedules.

Supervision

The successful candidate may be responsible for supervising teams ranging from 1 to 10 employees, depending on the shift and operational requirements.

Qualifications

- Language: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.





Work Environment

This is an on-site position. All work must be performed at the physical restaurant location in Harriston, Ontario. There is no remote-work option.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting operational deadlines. The position involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking and can be physically demanding.
