We are looking for a Produce Clerk to join the team! Theideal candidate should be able to lift boxes filled with fresh fruit orvegetables, stock, replenish, and have excellent customer service skills to helpour customers find the produce they need.

A Produce Clerk’s responsibilities include making surethat the produce is always fresh and in good condition. They inspect what thestore sells, checking to be sure it has no defects before preparing anarrangement of their choice on store shelves.Ultimately, you will beresponsible for the quality of produce displayed in our store and ensuring agreat shopping experience for our customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Assist customers with the appropriate produce item to assist with purchasing decisions
- Ensure the store isclean, safe and ready for shoppers
- Keep shelves fullystocked with fresh products; s tock, cull, and replenish produce and relatedproducts to shelves
- Wrap and place merchandise in bags / carts
- Maintaining andbuilding various Produce Department displays
- Rotation, loading andunloading of Produce Department product
- Backroom and inventorymanagement
- Assistwith other departmental functions which include but are not limited torotating, stocking, cleaning and maintaining the appearance and organization ofthe store
- Performsother related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and people skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention todetail.




- Excellent time management skills with a provenability to meet deadlines
- Availableto work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to stand during scheduled shift,withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
