Full time / 30 to 40 hours per week

Location: Markham, ON

Salary: $20.00 hourly

Starts as soon as possible

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Non-smoking, scent free

Work setting: Employer's home

Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Public transportation is available.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and care for a child, assuming full responsibility for the household in absence of parents.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Bathe, dress and feed the child, maintaining a secure and healthy environment.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for the child.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Prepare child for rest periods.
- Tend to emotional well‑being of the child.

Qualifications

- Education:



Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Security and safety: Criminal record check required.
- Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal suitability: client‑focused, flexible, initiative, judgement, organized, reliable, team player, time management, patience, honesty.
