Location: York, ON

Salary: $20.85 hourly, 30 to 40 hours per week

Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Start: As soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Experience is an asset

Work must be completed onsite; no remote option.

Work environment: Non-smoking, Scent free

Work setting: Employer’s home

Responsibilities

- Supervise and care for children
- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Bathe, dress and feed children
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals




- Prepare children for rest periods
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children

Job Requirements

- Criminal record check (security and safety)
- Public transportation is available
- Weight handling up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- Personal suitability: client focus, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, time management, patience, honesty
