BGC South East is hiring Authorized Rec Afterschool Leaders for September 2026 to June 2027. This role requires creating enjoyable and educational experiences for children aged 4-18 while promoting a supportive, respectful setting. Candidates should be available for up to 30 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and lead STEM & Robotics programs
• Supervise children to ensure fun and safety
• Maintain staff-to-child ratios at all times
• Complete required incident and accident records
• Implement effective behavior management techniques
Requirements:
• Enrolled or graduated from Post-Secondary education
• Experience in child-related settings
• Up-to-date immunizations and criminal reference check
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transport
• HIGH FIVE PHCD certification is an asset
