PATHways Centre invites you to apply for the Behaviour Therapy Assistant role, where you'll provide ABA therapy service to neurodiverse individuals in Burlington, Ontario. Engage in meaningful work that advances communication and daily skills.
In this position, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Behaviour Analyst, facilitating 1:1 and group sessions that incorporate ABA techniques. As a BTA, your responsibilities include crafting and following individualized treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring a safe, supportive therapy environment for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver 1:1 and group ABA therapy sessions
• Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Collect and analyze client data for progress assessment




• Collaborate with the team and families for effective skill transfer
• Maintain detailed session notes according to clinical standards
Requirements:
• Preferably educated in Behavioural Sciences or a related area
• Experience with neurodiverse populations or ABA settings beneficial
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Capable of managing challenging behaviours professionally
• Adherence to ethical standards of practice
