This temporary role requires membership in CUPE Local 748 Union and completion of a Criminal Record Check. You will be responsible for cleaning, minor maintenance, and ensuring security of the facilities. Your daily tasks will involve both manual cleaning and the operation of custodial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and execute cleaning duties across multiple sites
• Secure buildings and conduct safety checks as needed
• Operate vacuums and perform minor repairs
• Manage interactions with staff, students, and visitors
• Attend district training programs to enhance skills
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 10 education required
• At least six months of relevant experience
• Building Service Worker Certificate is a plus
• Familiarity with safety protocols in custodial work
• Effective communication and organizational skills
