CareGivers is hiring a dedicated Home Support Worker in Newfoundland and Labrador. This role involves assisting clients during illness and promoting their independence. You will be responsible for personal care, meal preparation, and companionship, ensuring a high-quality living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with meal preparation and housekeeping tasks
• Accompany clients to community events and appointments
• Document and report client progress effectively
• Follow written care plans from the Client Care Manager
Requirements:
• Minimum grade 12 education or certification as a home support worker
• Transparent Criminal Record Screening Certificate required
• Experience with seniors or physically disabled individuals
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
