In-home caregiver – private home – SaGo… family

Terms of employment: This job is for a full time position, between 30 and 40 hours per week. Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is July 1, 2026.

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour.

Location: SaGo… lives in Hampstead, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus and the metro are easily accessible and is close by (bus # 161 or # 66). The major intersection is Fleet Rd and Queen Mary Rd.

Duties may include:

- Help with the care of four children aged 14, 12, 9, and 7 years old. The children’s mother suffers from a chronic medical condition, and family needs help at home. Job duties do not include care for the mother.
- Supervise children when parents are not at home, and take them to and from appointments.
- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts,



reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- General housework including laundry and some ironing.
- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment.

Qualifications:

- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver.
- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
