As an Environmental Services Worker, you'll report to the Manager of Environmental Services and Sustainability. Your tasks will include cleaning duties across various hospital areas, with a commitment to maintain health standards. Responsibilities also focus on achieving IWK’s green initiatives while performing floorcare, waste management, and room setups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness across various hospital environments
• Execute floorcare tasks, including waxing and scrubbing
• Shampoo carpets and assist in laundry operations




• Dispose of hazardous and regular waste efficiently
• Manage chemical spill cleanups as needed
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in healthcare settings preferred
• Strong time management and organizing skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Independent and accountable in daily tasks
