Summary

Reporting to the Back Room Department Manager, a Receiving Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, replenishment, stocking, and maintenance/housekeeping.

Responsibilities

- Systematically receive purchase orders that come into the building.
- Perform physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify the count with the packing slip.
- Conduct stocking activities from the back room to the sales floor.
- Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re‑hanging of newly arriving Cabela’s Canada product.
- Conduct general replenishment of all departments, including facing and hanging merchandise.
- Check the floor for cleanliness, update pricing and signage, perform inventory checks, verify min/max settings, ensure shelves are full, and confirm security tags are in place.
- Assist with merchandise purges when necessary.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.




- Customer‑service oriented team player.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and business contacts in a courteous, positive and qualified manner.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and moving/handling boxes of merchandise.
- Must wear steel‑toe work boots.
- Must be able to obtain a PAL license.

Starting Pay Rate: $18.25 - $20.75
