PATHways Centre is a multidisciplinary hub in Burlington, Ontario, dedicated to supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families. We provide Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Mental Health, and Respite Services. Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Therapy Assistant (BTA) to join our team. Under the supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA), the BTA will deliver evidence-based ABA therapy to neurodiverse individuals. This role involves providing 1:1 direct intervention and facilitating group sessions to foster communication, social, self-regulation, academic, and daily living skills.

The ideal candidate is empathetic, organized, and eager to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide 1:1 and group therapy sessions using ABA strategies (DTT, NET, task analysis, reinforcement, etc.)
- Implement individualized treatment and behaviour support plans to build skills and reduce challenging behaviours
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and ensure consistency in interventions
- Collaborate with RBAs, therapists, families, and caregivers to support generalization of skills across settings
- Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports in line with clinical standards
- Contribute to team meetings, training,



and professional development opportunities
- Ensure therapy environments are safe, supportive, and engaging for clients

Qualifications & Skills

- Post-secondary education in Behavioural Sciences, Psychology, Child and Youth Studies, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience working with neurodiverse individuals or in an ABA setting is an asset
- Robust communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours in a calm, professional manner
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and data collection skills
- Flexible, empathetic, and team-oriented approach

Compensation & Benefits

- Hourly rate: (to be discussed based on qualifications and experience)
- Paid mandatory training, plus opportunities for continuing education

Schedule

- Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, based on client needs
- Hybrid service delivery (in-centre and in the community)

Requirements

- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (renewed every 3 years)
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
- Professional liability insurance ($2,000,000 coverage minimum)
- Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality
