Job Description

Lake Country Co-op is looking for a part‑time casual Clerk/Cashier to work at our Food Store in Domremy, Saskatchewan .

Responsibilities

- Support Lake Country Co‑operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles with a solid customer‑focused approach
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels
- Serve guests, pack groceries, stock, and face shelves
- Maintain a clean and well‑maintained department; clean up breakage and spills, clean shelves, bins and displays, and keep aisles free of debris
- Ensure a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies and procedures, including the sale of age‑restricted items
- Operate point of sale system and other electronic devices and process sales
- Monitor code dates to keep the freshest inventory on the shelf, following FIFO
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures
- Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications





- Honest, trustworthy, results‑oriented
- 19 years of age or older, service‑oriented, and motivated to assist customers effectively
- Well‑organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with minimal supervision
- Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices
- Willing and able to obtain WHMIS and Serve It Right certifications
- Attentive to detail with strong cash management skills
- Able to meet physical job requirements (standing, kneeling, crouching, heavy lifting)
- Able to work in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment
- Versatile work schedule, including weekends and holidays
