Adecco is currently recruiting for aContracts Advisoron behalf of a leadingOil & Gas clientin Calgary, AB. This is a12-month contract chance with potential for extensionfor a strategic and results-driven procurement professional looking to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic Supply Chain team.As aContracts Advisor, you will serve as a subject matter expert inservice contracting ,leading contract negotiations,supplier engagement, and sourcing initiatives that drive measurable cost savings, risk mitigation, and operational efficiencies.You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop strategic sourcing solutions while managing the full contract lifecycle.Shift: Monday to Friday | 8-hour shifts | 5 days onsite per weekJob type:Temporary | Full-time | one year contractPay:$70- $85/hrKey ResponsibilitiesIdentify cost reduction opportunities through market analysis, supplier collaboration, and spend managementLead sourcing and contract negotiation activities from strategy development through contract executionApply data-driven insights to optimize commercial structures and service delivery modelsDevelop innovative contracting and negotiation strategies to improve business outcomesManage supplier performance, productivity, cost control, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport contract planning, contract administration, claims management, and warranty activitiesPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectivesBalance cost efficiency, performance,



and risk while delivering commercial valueQualifications5-7+ years of experience instrategic sourcing, contract management, and commercial negotiationsProven experience managingcomplex technical service contracts.Strong background incontract drafting, negotiation, administration, and lifecycle managementof service-based agreementsHands-on SAP Ariba experience is requiredBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related disciplineExperience supportingInspection, Testing, Crane Services, Engineering, Maintenance, or other technical services categoriesis considered a strong assetDemonstrated success in supplier sourcing, commercial evaluations, contract strategy development, and supplier relationship managementStrong understanding of contracting models, commercial terms, risk mitigation strategies, and cost drivers in service environmentsExperience withcost optimization, cost modeling, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysisExcellent analytical, financial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsExperience using spend analytics and procurement systems to support sourcing decisions and contract performance monitoringAbility to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, complex business environmentAt Adecco our purpose is simple: to make the future work for everyone.
