GOODLIFE KIDS FOUNDATION – MOVE COACH IMPORTANT–
Move by GoodLife Kids GoodLife Kids Foundation(GLKF) enables and supports kids and youth with autism and intellectual disabilities through physical activity and fitness. Our vision is that all kids and youth with autism and intellectual disabilities experience the joys and benefits of being active.
The MOVE by GoodLife Kids program is a free physical activity and fitness program for youth ages 12 – 21 years with autism and intellectual disabilities. MOVE by GoodLife Kids Program class runs In Person and Virtually across Canada up to three times per week. MOVE Classes incorporate social time, workouts, dancing, and mental wellness.
This posting is for an in-person class launching in October 2026, that will be delivered at a GoodLife Fitness Club.
What will you be doing?
Lead and deliver an exceptional fitness program for youth with autism and intellectual disabilities through coaching, instruction and facilitation to ensure a positive and impactful experience for all.
Collaborating with other MOVE Coaches and Supervisors when discovering best practices.
Create and develop workout plans that meet programming guidelines of MOVE by GoodLife Kids to support the needs of the Participants.
Build and maintain positive relationships withMOVEParticipants and our Community Partners.
RespondtoMOVE Participants and Caregiver feedback and concerns.
This role will primarily lead in-person classes with the opportunity to be involved with our virtual programming as needed.
Represent GoodLife Kids Foundation in a professional, positive, caring, and friendly manner.
Do you have what it takes?
- Passion for working with youth with disabilities.
- Experiencedelivering fitness classes.
- Able to deliver in-person classes.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must have or being willing to obtain a current nationally recognized Group Fitness /Coaching certification such as Fitness Instructor Specialist (FIS)/Personal Training Specialist (PTS).
- Must have a current CPR-A certification.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships withParticipants and MOVE Community Partners.
- Access to reliable internet connectionthat supports uninterrupted video conferencing.
- A proactive, flexible, and adaptable mindset.
Location & Availability
Location: Windsor Dougall & Cabana GoodLife Fitness (3920 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9G 1X2)
Availability: Tuesday 7:00pm-8:00pm Saturday 12:00pm-1:00pm

Compensation
The selected candidate will start at a base wage of $35.00 for their class hours. In addition, there will be further hours for administration at a base wage of $17.60. The expected annual total compensation is $5,700 determined by the expected total number of scheduled hours per year.
