Drive student engagement as the Event Coordinator at Northern College in Haileybury, Kirkland Lake, or Timmins. This role focuses on recruitment, organization of events, and community outreach.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Marketing, Communications, and External Relations, you will serve as a vital link between the College and prospective students. In this full-time position, you'll leverage your public relations and event management skills to conduct presentations in high schools, lead marketing events, and collect valuable leads. Your expertise will guide the development of promotional materials essential for attracting new students and fostering community relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Visit local high schools for presentations and outreach
• Organize and promote on-campus recruitment events




• Collaborate on recruitment materials with college staff
• Enter leads into the CRM system promptly
• Maintain and analyze recruitment travel budgets
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Marketing or related field
• Minimum five years in public relations or marketing
• Valid Class G Driver’s License required
• Robust project management and event management skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
