Mount Royal University invites you to join Cougars Athletics & Recreation as a Fitness Centre Associate. In this role, you will actively monitor fitness areas, assist members with equipment, and manage front desk operations. Your commitment to cleanliness and safety will contribute to a welcoming environment, with shifts scheduled flexibly to a total of thirty-five hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce fitness facility rules and safety policies
• Oversee front desk activities and member check-ins
• Ensure organization and cleanliness of fitness areas
• Conduct equipment maintenance checks regularly
• Assist with setup for fitness events and programs
Requirements:
• At least one year of experience in fitness or recreation
• Certification in Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C
• Degree in Kinesiology or working towards it preferred
• Robust organizational and communication skills
• Background in customer service and conflict resolution
