Norfab Metal and Machine Cylinder Mechanic
The Cylinder Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and refurbish hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and associated assemblies ensuring they operate at peak efficiency. Diagnose & Troubleshoot issues with cylinders Use precision measuring tools to verify specifications & tolerances Safely disassemble complex hydraulic components Perform repairs and replacements of damaged parts Precisely reassemble cylinders Test repaired cylinder to ensure proper alignment & functionality Maintain detailed records of repairs including parts used and service dates Schedule: Monday-Thursday (10 hour shifts) 6:45 am - 5:15 pm Norfab Metal and Machine offers a comprehensive benefits package after 3 months, employer RRSP contributions after 6 months, annual profit sharing bonuses as well as other annual incentives.
Wages to be negotiated based on experience. Required Skills
Must be proficient in teardown, assembly and hone operations. The ideal candidate will have certification in hydraulics or related field preferred with 3-5 years of experience with hydraulic cylinder repair. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics. They will be able to follow directions, work well with others and have the motivation necessary to contribute positively to a team setting. This individual will be reliable and punctual at all times and be able to work with minimal supervision. Requirements
Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and own transportation to / from work.
