Engage young learners as a French and English Teacher-Tutor at Oxford Learning Guelph Woodlawn. Focused on French immersion, this part-time position allows you to support students in their academic journey.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching languages and the ability to manage small groups in a supportive setting. You will follow our pre-planned lessons while providing personalized attention to each student, reinforcing their understanding and skills in both languages.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and support up to 3 students per session
• Carry out Oxford Learning’s teaching methodologies
• Provide lesson documentation and engagement notes
• Communicate effectively with students and their families
• Foster a positive learning atmosphere continuously
Requirements:
• CEGEP or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• Proficient in French and English, written and verbal
• Experience in tutoring or teaching high school students
• Capability to assist with French immersion coursework
• Availability for evening and summer sessions
