Impact lives at the Women’s Art Museum of Canada as a Bilingual Women's Art Interpreter. This part-time role in Edmonton allows you to delve into women’s visual heritage through engaging tours and workshops.
Seeking an enthusiastic individual who is fluent in French and English, this position offers three days a week focused on educating audiences of all ages. Your role will involve interpreting museum exhibitions, developing workshop content, and effectively communicating narratives that reflect cultural sensitivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret exhibitions in French and English effectively
• Engage school and adult groups with educational tours
• Assist in developing pertinent educational content
• Convey narratives with respect for diverse backgrounds
• Work collaboratively within the museum environment
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related area preferred
• Additional studies in Women’s or Gender Studies is advantageous
• Solid bilingual communication skills
• Experience in art interpretation or education is an asset
• Proven public speaking abilities
