We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in preparing competitive and accurate electrical bids.

Responsibilities

- Receive, organize, and track all incoming tender requests and related documents.
- Review tender packages and ensure all necessary drawings, specifications, and addenda are obtained.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Develop and submit tenders within required deadlines.
- Maintain a database of tender submissions, pricing, and historical cost information.
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with the project management team to transition awarded projects into execution.





Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrical estimator in construction or contracting.
- Proficiency with Accubid estimating software, as well as Excel.
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and construction practices.
- Experience in estimating both small projects and large-scale contracts.
- Knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code and relevant regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
