This position requires a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant diploma with organizational and interpersonal skills. As a casual assistant, you will help construct and implement augmentative communication systems while working with special needs clients. Flexibility is essential, with availability for short shifts and statutory holidays.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist with speech-language and audiology support • Construct and program augmentative communication systems • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team • Adapt to short notice calls for staffing needs • Support clients with special needs effectively
Requirements: • Diploma in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SPLA) • Valid driver's license as needed • Availability for 1-4 days per week • Intermediate computer skills • Strong communication and organizational skills
