Key Responsibilities: • Provide active supervision of pool environments • Teach swim lessons while ensuring safety and fun • Address member concerns and maintain records • Enforce safety protocols and respond to emergencies • Assist in training new aquatics staff
Requirements: • At least 16 years of age with specific supervision • Intermediate First Aid & CPR-C certification • Must obtain National Lifeguard certification • YMCA Swim Instructor certification preferred • Excellent communication skills and teamwork
