Home health care worker (Permanent employment)

Full time / 30 to 40 hours per week

Aryafar Family

Location: Thornhill, ON

Salary: $21.00 hourly

Starts as soon as possible

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Non-smoking

Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Work in employer’s/client’s home.

Responsibilities

- Administer bedside and personal care to an elderly male with a disability.
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk.
- Manage clothing and linens.




- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Requirements

- Security and safety: Criminal record check.
- Weight handling: up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Languages: English.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Personal suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability.
- Flexibility: Organized, reliability, team player, patience, honesty.
