Make a difference in student learning as a part-time teacher-tutor at Oxford Learning Bayview Woods. This role supports both Elementary and high-school students in core subjects, working directly to improve their academic skills.
For the school year, we seek enthusiastic tutors who can engage with students through up to three at a time in a professional workplace. Utilizing our structured lesson plans, you'll provide valuable feedback and maintain an interactive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tutor up to three students in reading, math, and other subjects
• Follow Oxford Learning teaching methodologies and principles
• Send daily updates and monthly reports about student progress
• Create a positive and fun learning environment for all students
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field
• Experience teaching or tutoring K-12;
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills
• French teaching ability is a plus
• Availability for after-school and evening hours
