We've embarked on an exciting growth phase – a multi-year transformational journey to enhance our entrepreneurial, high-performing, advisor-centric culture.Position Overview The Credit Officer works with a small tight knit team of other Credit professionals to monitor, review, and approve daily retail credit requests and transactions submitted by the Advisor Teams, ensuring compliance with Regulatory requirements and Firm policies, and while avoiding unreasonable risk that may result in financial losses.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCheque/EFT withdrawals and Wire transfers, including on margin (within approved limits)Third party paymentsSecurity withdrawalsCapital callsDelivery or Receive Against Payment (DAP / RAP) transactionsStock options or warrants exerciseCharitable donationsJournal entries (i.E.



moving cash and/or securities between accounts)Write offsInterest adjustmentsDaily delinquent cash account reporting and supervisionDaily short reporting and supervisionQualificationsA valuable understanding of the Securities Industry (relevant job experience or completion of the Canadian Securities Course will be consideredHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and WordExperience with Dataphile is desiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem solving and analytical abilityExcellent time management and prioritization skillsEducationPost-secondary degree/diploma or relevant job experienceThe expected annualized base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000. This a contract opportunity.
