both interior and exterior, are kept functional and in good condition for participants that access MSP's program and services. This role includes maintenance tasks are both preventative maintenance and reacting to emerging building needs.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete assigned maintenance tasks each shift, ensuring appropriate documentation and communicationTake the lead on maintenance projects including, but not limited to, minor plumbing issues (e.G. unclogging drains, etc.), straightforward carpentry (e.G. dry wall patching, door replacement, etc.), painting and removal/installation/assembly of furniture and fixturesMonitor and execute preventative maintenance measures according to established maintenance plansMeet with external contractors to provide support and information where neededNotify Coordinator concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systemsCollect and remove garbage from MSP owned property, both indoors and outdoors as requested/requiredPicking up full sharps containers and bringing them to a centralized pick up locationAdhere to health and safety protocols (WHMIS, PPE, Occupational Safety and Health)Snow removal and ice sanding as requiredMoving of furniture, donations and deliveriesOther duties as assignedQualificationsPrior maintenance experience in a similar community health environmentKnowledge and understanding of basic maintenance issues including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, and electricalReliable, punctual,
