Provides assessments, treatments, referrals and case management of individuals, couples, groups and families who experience mental health problems and/or addictions problems. Provides professional consultation and collaborative support as an interdisciplinary team member. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Education Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license
Competencies Communication, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Organizational skills
Listening, specific counseling and assessment skills.
Demonstrates word processing skills using Microsoft Office programs
Knowledge and Abilities Ability to complete case management assessments, follow-up and treatment
Knowledge in appropriate models of therapeutic interventions
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to competently use computers and software applications
Knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act
Ability to assess, treat and implement mental health plans for youth & families
Proficient in case management skills and client follow-up
Solid interpersonal skills
