In this role, you will support the daily operations by handling donations through sorting, packing, and distribution. As a Warehouse Worker, your contributions will ensure that quality items reach our thrift stores. You will also maintain safety standards and cleanliness throughout the facility while meeting performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unload, sort, and package donations efficiently
• Identify quality merchandise for store distribution
• Maintain accurate records for incoming and outgoing donations
• Follow safety procedures and perform cleaning tasks
• Operate necessary warehouse equipment as certified
Requirements:
• High School education or equivalent
• Previous experience in warehouse or retail preferred
• Must pass background checks per Salvation Army standards
• Completion of WHMIS training required
• Ability to perform lifting and physical tasks up to 50 lbs
