Job Description In collaboration with the operations and engineering teams, your mandate will be to
support quality control
and
contribute to the continuous improvement
of our products. You will play a key role in implementing quality strategies, preventing non-conformities, and maintaining the company’s standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and apply
quality control
plans to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
Conduct
audits and inspections
on production areas and equipment.
Perform
root cause analyses
and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Promote a
culture of continuous improvement
and quality awareness.
Read and interpret
technical plans and specifications .
Collaborate closely with team members and clients.
Contribute to a positive and stimulating work environment.
Perform all other related duties as required by the department.
Desired Profile
Training in
mechanical engineering
(technical) or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of
AutoCAD ,
SolidWorks , and the
imperial/metric system .
Proficiency in
MS Office
suite, particularly
Excel .
Experience in
steel manufacturing and processing .
Excellent
plan reading
and technical rigor.
Organization, autonomy, and team spirit.
Valid driver's license.
Have a strong command of French and an intermediate level of English (spoken and written); knowledge of English is required, as the position holder must regularly communicate with clients located outside Quebec, notably in Ontario, New Brunswick, and the United States.
