Vernon Veterinary Clinic is looking for a full time client service representative/receptionist to join our team.

Our ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, punctual and responsible with a strong work ethic. They will be flexible and possess the initiative to work individually as well as work well as a team. Our clinic is fast paced and the ability to multitask is essential.

Job requirements:

- Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patient and pet parents
- Demonstrate experience in a fast-paced setting
- Capable of working autonomously
- Capable of following direction and performing at a high standard
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Answer phone calls on a multiline phone system
- Schedule appointments on Ezyvet IT system
- Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future appointment/bookings
- Respond and manage email correspondence
- Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, process payment
- File documents electronically

Job Type: Full time

Hourly rate: $19 - $20
