Mining Engineer or Geoscience Co-Op/Intern – Summer 2027

Where will you work:

Mosaic Potash Esterhazy K3 is an underground potash mine located 90 kilometers south of Yorkton and one of the world’s most competitive underground potash mines in the world. Located at Highway 22. Esterhazy, SK S0A 0X0. Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.

Term May 10, 2027 up to 16 months Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically, 36-40 hours a week. In person. 9/80 schedule if applicable.

What you’ll do:

- Shadow experienced professionals to develop job knowledge and provide input on current practices.
- Travel Underground to perform inspections and collect data.
- Assist the department with Mine Ventilation or Mine Planning duties as required.




- Assist in evaluating and formulating solutions for projects aimed at improving mining processes under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support geophysical surveys by preparing equipment, collecting data, and learning traditional and cutting-edge techniques.
- Participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Help collect, organize, and interpret geological and operational data, contributing to the exchange of ideas and recommendations across departments.
- Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), tradespersons, and contractors.
- Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.
- Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies.

What you’ll need:

- Third year or above by May 2027 pursuing a bachelor's in Mining/Geological Engineering or Geoscience is preferred.
- Relevant Civil or Mechanical Engineering programs also considered.
- 72% or higher Ability to function in an industrial
