We deliver reliability, security, and correctness - while still learning and moving fastThe RoleWe're looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the ecommerce pod.This role blends deep technical leadership with people leadership. You are expected to make critical decisions regarding the team's focus and participate in system design planning.



You will stay close to the work while owning systems at the heart of the business and creating the conditions for safe, reliable delivery.What You'll DoLead a cross-functional Product Engineering pod responsible for paymentsCollaborate across Fullscript's engineering org as a technical authority for payments-related decisionsOwn the checkout experience end to end, from cart to confirmationDesign and maintain integrations with payment processing platforms such as StripeBuild and evolve connections to financial systems and fulfillment platformsEnsure payment flows are secure, auditable, and highly reliableBalance feature delivery with the operational rigor required for revenue-critical systemsHow We Expect You to ThinkTreat revenue-critical systems with appropriate care and disciplineBuild for observability and understand what is happening at every stepUnderstand the business impact of outages, bugs, and degraded performanceKnow when to move deliberately and when it is safe to move fasterOwn the full lifecycle from design through production operationsWhat You BringExperience leading ecommerce or transaction-critical systemsUnderstanding of payment integrations such as Stripe or similar platformsTechnical depth and product judgment to guide senior engineering conversations across architecture, system design,
