Overview

The City of Thompson invites applicants for a seasonal Laborer position at Public Works. This position is responsible for general labourer duties within the City’s service areas.

Qualifications

- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Valid Class 5 Licence.
- Class 3 or 1 with Air brakes licence and experience operating a variety of heavy equipment (asset).
- Ability to receive, understand and apply written and verbal instruction, deal effectively with co-workers, communicate effectively with the general public.
- Ability to do shift work.

Responsibilities

- Perform general manual labour on construction, repair, and maintenance of the City of Thompson.
- Other related duties as per job description.
