Description

Permanent full-time home health care worker (30 to 40 hours per week) responsible for caring for an elderly woman with a disability. Duties include administering bedside and personal care, assisting with regular exercise such as walking, mending clothing and linens, performing light housekeeping and cleaning, providing companionship, and preparing and serving nutritious meals. The work site is the employer’s/client’s home; remote work is not offered.

Responsibilities

- Mend clothing and linens.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.





Job Requirements

- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Criminal record check required.
- Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal suitability: Punctuality, client focus, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, patience, honesty.
