We are seeking an upbeat, creative Cook for our Cedar Springs community. In this casual/on-call role, you will ensure a memorable dining experience while following proper food-handling procedures. Use your culinary skills and food safety knowledge to dazzle our residents and maintain a clean kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create dishes that delight residents and guests
• Prepare and serve meals in a restaurant-style setting
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and proper food-storage practices
• Heat and portion food to serve residents appropriately
• Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries
Requirements:
• Culinary diploma or equivalent experience
• Food Safe Level 1 and WHMIS certifications
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail in food preparation
• Respect for seniors’ needs and preferences
